As we enter the summer season, it's essential to note that not all tutors can assist with every math course. However, all students are welcome to visit the Learning Center during the listed hours. The Mathematics Learning Center is committed to providing tutoring services at no cost to students taking math and statistics courses.

During the summer sessions, all Math and Stats tutoring will be conducted virtually. To access these services, enroll in the Tutoring, Murphy Learning Center Canvas course via this link. Before visiting the lab, it's recommended that you prepare by reviewing your notes and any relevant materials, such as textbooks or example problems.

The tutors at the Mathematics Tutorial Lab are graduate teaching assistants and undergraduate math majors. When you arrive, sign in at the Front Desk, find a seat in the designated area for your course, and raise your hand when you need assistance.

Please note that not all courses have online tutoring available. MATH 118, for example, has in-person tutoring sessions from 12pm-7pm Sunday-Wednesday during the summer. For a detailed list of available tutoring services, visit this link: 'LINK'.

The Mathematics Learning Center aims to provide a friendly and relaxed environment where students can ask questions and work with experienced tutors, staff, and faculty to better understand math concepts. For those interested in private tutoring, the Mathematics Department maintains a list of students available for individual tutoring services. Tutor applications are available in 14 MLH from Margaret Driscol.
